Welcome to the Home of the Youth Art Peace Pole Project
Peace Poles are one of the most recognized symbols of peace worldwide with more than 240,000 standing across the globe with “May Peace Prevail on Earth” written in different languages on each side. During the 2013-14 school year and guided by dedicated art teachers, one group of kids from each State created a one-of-a-kind Youth Art Peace Pole. The students’ Peace Poles will be on display in a prominent location in their home State for The International Day of Peace, September 21, 2014. These Youth Art Peace Poles will then remain in the communities that brought them to life as simple and beautiful reminders of “May Peace Prevail on Earth.”
Please join us on a virtual State by State journey through the Youth Art Peace Pole Project by visiting the photo gallery and reading the students’ stories. If you would like to create a Peace Pole with the children in your life, please click on the Peace Pole Art Kit photo to the right or contact us for complete directions to design your own.
